Excalibur is usually on AEW’s commentary team every week. AEW was live this week, but Dynamite was missing someone in the announce booth.

This week AEW’s announce team was Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone, and Taz. No mention was made of Excalibur.

Multiple videos surfaced of Excalibur using the N-Word. This caused a lot of attention. Kevin Owens was featured in one of those old videos where he used the racial slur as well.

We have heard no word from AEW about this situation. Excalibur’s absence is notable because of the timing of those old promos appearing online. Excalibur has been silent since the videos resurfaced as well.

In the past if someone had to miss AEW Dynamite for a COVID-19 related reason it is addressed. They addressed Tony Schiavone’s absence during the first part of the show when his COVID-19 test was late. They made zero reference to Excalibur at all.
