Joey Janela and Lio Rush battled during the second night of the GCW Homecoming event. Janela won the match, but afterward Lio Rush was able to cut a passionate promo for the GCW fans.

Rush was released from WWE on April 15th and he stated that he might never wrestle again. Then he started promoting a Final Match which fans thought was the name of his music album at first.

Things were very clear when Rush jumped in GCW ring and took out the Bad Boy Joey Janela. A match was then set up for the second night of the Homecoming event.

Following their match, Joey Janela told Lio Rush that “I know damn well that you’re not retiring from f*cking wrestling.’ Rush then proceeded to take the microphone and give a heartfelt address to the fans.
