AEW was able to keep fresh content on the air throughout the pandemic. They didn’t miss a week, and Kris Statlander was a part of that action until she was injured.

Kris Statlander was suffered a torn ACL in the second week of June, but she didn’t get surgery right away. That time as come for AEW’s resident alien as she prepares to go under the knife tomorrow.

Statlander took the time to update fans about her status and plug AEW’s two weekly shows as well.

Tomorrow is surgery day and I’m either going to spend my night watching #AEWDark or sleeping. Luckily I’ll be entertained Wednesday as well on my first day of recovery knowing #AEWDynamite is LIVE Wednesday at 8/7c pn TNT. Who’s watching with me?

This will not be a fun time for Kris Statlander because recovery from injury is never easy. Thankfully, she will be entertained on Wednesday as she enjoys Dynamite during the first day of her recovery.

There is no current word about how long Kris Statlander will be out of action. AEW’s Women’s Division took two big losses with Statlander and Britt Baker both going out of action with knee issues in a very short period of time.
