The New Day battled Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro in the opening contest of the Horror Show at Extreme Rules. They set up a double table situation at ringside and teased a spot through the tables, then the match carried on.

Kofi Kingston ended up taking a bump through those tables. This marked the end of yet another Tag Team Title reign for The New Day in WWE. Now Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro are champions.

The New Day’s Tag Team Title reign might be over, but now there are new champions. Following their win, Cesaro told Michael Cole that they’re tired of being overlooked. It will be pretty hard to not notice the SmackDown Tag Team Champions.
