Taz hits hard in the ring, on the microphone and also on Twitter. The ECW Legend is not the one to pull punches or mince words be it in front of wrestlers, companies, or even fans.
A fan asked Taz about what’s next in store for his client Brian Cage after he lost his match against Jon Moxley at Fight For the Fallen. Another fan responded by saying that Cage will put over more former WWE Superstars and compared AEW to TNA from 2010-12.
This didn’t sit too well with the Hardcore legend who responded to the fan by saying that these accusations make him laugh his a** off. He passive-aggressively asked the fan if AEW should only hire guys that are NOT from WWE and told him that his take was ridiculous.
Every time I see takes like this I laugh my damn ass off!!! “Ex-WWE” guys! Should we hire ONLY talent that is NOT from WWE? Just Indy guys? Just ROH guys? Just Impact guys? Just MLW guys? It’s such a ridiculous take.
Taz threw in the towel at Fight For The Fallen, calling quits on Cage’s behalf during his match against Moxley. He even defended his actions later on Twitter and said that he’d do it again in such a situation.
