Tony Schiavone was set to be at Fight For The Fallen, but he was unable to make the show. They did address his situation at the beginning of the broadcast to inform fans why he wasn’t there.

It was explained at the beginning of the broadcast that Taz will be sitting in for Tony Schiavone. It was said that Schiavone was waiting on his COVID-19 test results. They explained that he hasn’t tested positive, but he hadn’t received his test results in time.

AEW keeps very strict testing protocol and procedure. Anyone must pass a COVID-19 test before they are permitted to enter their bubble. Tony Schiavone would have been there if he could, but as Taz said during Fyter Fest AEW doesn’t “run a sloppy shop.”

Tony Schiavone will be back on AEW Dynamite, but he had to miss Fight For The Fallen.
