WWE brought big Undertaker Tribute episode last week that paid off. The company brought a normal show this week. How did the viewership do on July 3rd?

Showbuzz Daily reports that WWE Friday Night SmackDown scored an overnight average of 1.7765 million viewers. They captured 1.797 million viewers in the first hour and 1.756 in the second hour. They earned a .5 rating in the coveted 18-49 demographic.

Last week’s show brought in 2.1735 million viewers. They also earned a .7 rating in the 18-49 demographic. The Undertaker’s Tribute obviously paid off for them.

The previous week’s episode brought an overnight average of 2.089 million viewers. That number was up from last week.

The week prior’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown brought 2.016 million viewers. They also had a rating of .5 in the 18-49 demographic.

The week before that brought an overnight average of 1.935 million viewers. This was down a bit from the previous week which pulled in 2.15 million overnight viewers. That number was up from the week before’s viewership of 2.039 million viewers. As you can see, SmackDown has found a niche hovering around the 2 million viewer range.
