WWE had live fans in the crowd this week, and it was more than just the WWE Performance Center crew. Real fans received invitations from WWE to attend the tapings.

The company had the Superstars sign waivers before they could enter the WWE Performance Center. Once those waivers were signed WWE was not liable if the fans contracted the novel coronavirus while in the building. The form also informed fans of the risk they were taking.

The fans also had medical checks administered. These tests did not include actual COVID-19 testing, but temperature checks and surveys were given.

WWE still brought NXT Superstars to the tapings. They were scattered around the ring and mixed with the real fans. Everyone was still spread out as you could see on the show.
