Pro wrestling can be a tough occupation because injuries can be around every corner. During last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite it appeared that Marq Quen of Private Party was hurt, but that was all part of the show.

PW Insider reports that Quen was working his injury last night. It was part of the match’s booking to take him out. This set up Matt Hardy leaving the ringside area which allowed for the angle that followed.

The injury to Marq Quen on Dynamite during the opening six man tag was a worked injury to set up Matt Hardy’s exit (helping him to the back) to explain why he left as the Butcher and The Blade attacked the Bucks, leading into FTR hitting the ring.

AEW had a lot going on during the first segment of this week’s Dynamite. The debut of FTR was certainly a big surprise that a lot of fans wanted to see, but they just didn’t know exactly when it would happen. At least Marq Quen wasn’t really hurt in the process.
