AEW will crown a new champion at Double Or Nothing. Cody Rhodes and Lance Archer will go to war, and Mike Tyson will be on hand to present the new title to its first champion. The title’s design is a total mystery right now.

While appearing on The Schmoedown Twitch channel , Cody Rhodes revealed that Tony Khan is the only one who has seen the new title so far. There are two ways they can go with things. Some people want the title to be revealed sooner than later, but others would prefer to wait and have the big reveal at Double Or Nothing.

This new TNT Title is Tony Khan’s vision and it sounds like he is the driving force behind the idea as well.

“I don’t think we’ll get a glimpse this Wednesday. You never know. I know there’s kind of two trains of thought. Some people would really like to see this thing and get it out there. No one has seen it other than Tony Khan. I’ve been told it’s just incredible and it’s his vision and its been executed as such. But, I wouldn’t be surprised. Just like our generation, we like to press send on pretty much everything. We don’t think anymore, we just press send and press send. I could see us hot-shotting and perhaps it being Wednesday on Dynamite but if not, the first time you see it will be when ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson presents it at the pay-per-view.”

AEW obviously has plans for the TNT Title. Tony Khan stated that the company will list the AEW World Champion and TNT Champion above everyone else on the weekly rankings.

How AEW handles having two male singles titles remains to be seen. They did a pretty good job creating an exciting and important tournament to find an inaugural champion.
