WWE put a spotlight on Apollo Crews following WrestleMania. He was brought back to RAW and given a lot more to do than his previous run on the red brand. Then he was pulled from the Money In The Bank match due to a kayfabe injury. WWE has a few options for him now.

It was noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that some are pulling for Apollo Crews to join MVP’s new heel stable. Others apparently think he could become a heel on his own. It is pretty clear that Crews is headed to the heel side of the roster.

Crews was giving off heel tendencies on last week’s Raw and it’s been speculated he will be part of a stable headed by MVP that would also include Brendan Vink & Shane Thorne. We’ve been given the impression that is one of several options considered for Crews but it is not necessarily the end direction.

At this point, WWE could go any different direction with Apollo Crews. He has been underutilized for years so any attention is going to be a chance for him to seize that opportunity and show what he’s capable of.
