Sami Zayn will not be on SmackDown this week. The WWE Intercontinental Champion won’t be on SmackDown next week either because the company filmed two episodes in one shot.

Zayn declined to attend WWE’s Performance Center tapings. The COVID-19 threat was something he didn’t want to risk. He updated fans about his whereabouts prior to SmackDown airing on FOX this week.

The Artist Collective will be missing Sami Zayn this week. The WWE IC Champion is okay. If you need him, he’s safe at home with his cat.
