WWE needed to change their plans in a big way to keep the show going in the middle of a pandemic. WWE hasn’t skipped a beat, but they needed to call some major audibles along the way.

While speaking to After The Bell, Triple H revealed the process of holding television tapings at the WWE Performance Center. It was whirlwind experience that escalated quickly.

WWE NXT ran a show in the Performance Center because Full Sail Arena was occupied. That was the same week everything went down which was strange timing. Triple H revealed that the morning after NXT ran their show, he called Vince McMahon and The Chairman was already considering running the show of shows in a new location.

“For the first time he goes, ‘We might be doing WrestleMania from [the WWE Performance Center]. I was like, holy cow, I was like okay, I’m gonna stay here and then prepare for the trucks the next day and set up the Performance Center.”

Triple H told his WWE Performance Center crew that “Superman set up” the Performance Center for NXT, but now “Batman’s coming with his utility belt and his 16 trucks and stuff that he can make this place look crazy.”

WWE moved in and transformed the Performance Center into something totally different. It was soon very clear to WWE that “we’re gonna be parked here for a while.”

They had no live fans, everything was changing rapidly and Triple H said that they needed to figure out how to not only put on a show, but also make sure that everything is safe for that show to go down.
