Backstage Pull In WWE To Break Up The New Day

WWE Friday Night SmackDown has included strange glitches for months. This week the mysterious hooded figure behind those glitches promised the breakup of a tag team.

The New Day were shown in that short video promo from the strange hooded figure. This has caused some to wonder if The New Day might be marked for a breakup.

Wrestling News reports that there have been pitches backstage to nix the New Day as a group. This seems like the time time to break up the stable in some fans’ opinions.

It is interesting that The New Day was shown because for years there have been pitches made by writers to have them turn heel or to have them split up. Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have been against splitting up the team.

The New Day just clinched the SmackDown Tag Team Titles once again. If WWE is going to break them up then it might as well happen now because nobody would see it coming.

This is interesting because Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, and Big E all signed new five-year contracts last year all worth the same amount of money.
