WWE was forced to hold WrestleMania 36 inside an empty Performance Center. They really don’t want their plans for next year to change, but they might not be able to help it.

The LA Times reports that Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti stated in a briefing that “large gatherings such as concerts and sporting events may not be approved in the city for at least 1 year.”

WWE’s WrestleMania 37 is scheduled to take place at SoFi Stadium on March 28th, 2021. If they hold off an entire year to hold large events then WrestleMania would fall under that time-frame.

It was also stated that “the mayor doesn’t have a timeline for Los Angeles to begin resuming large-scale events.” Their plan is to re-open the economy including small and large businesses in the next 6 to 10 months.
