Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley performed a clinic at WrestleMania 36. The two battled for the WWE NXT Title in a match that would eventually see Flair winning her second NXT Women’s Title. This match didn’t come together by itself.
PW Insider reports that Adam Pearce was the producer for Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley’s WrestleMania 36 encounter.
Pearce was at the WWE Performance Center, but WWE didn’t call in any producers from out of state. Due to the novel coronavirus, a lot of producers who needed to travel were told to stay at home.
Following her WrestleMania match, Rhea Ripley needed to go back to Australia. Her work visa reportedly expired. Since Australia is going through the COVID-19 issues like everyone else, it’s doubtful that Ripley will be permitted to return for a while unless they can pull off a miracle.
