WWE is dealing with the coronavirus situation in the best way they can. Now they are cancelling more dates.

The company has revealed that their scheduled South African tour will be postponed. The tour was previously set to take place in May. Now fans will have to wait until September.

Tickets purchased for the event already will be honored for the new dates.

The safety of the WWE Universe is always our top priority. The South African government has now declared a national state of disaster, and banned travelers from high risk countries from entering our country as well as public gatherings of more than 100 people for the foreseeable future.

Under the circumstances, the WWE LIVE South Africa events originally scheduled for May have now been postponed until September.

We can only hope that the COVID-19 pandemic is contained, and WWE can carry on with their plans well before September. Fans in South Africa will have to wait due to the uncertainty of this entire situation.

  • The new South African WWE tour dates are:
  • Cape Town, Thursday, September 10th, Grand Arena
  • Durban, Friday, September 11th, Moses Mabhida Stadium
  • Johannesburg, Saturday, September 12th, TicketPro Dome
