WWE has not called off WrestleMania. 70,000 or more fans are still set to flock toward Tampa for the show of shows. It’s doubtful that many fans would show up. The CDC has suggested that all events over 50 people be called off. Vince McMahon and WWE are still holding out on making a decision.

Tampa officials have said that if WWE doesn’t cancel the event they will probably have to pull the plug. WWE has other options.

TMZ reports that WWE is considering multiple options. One reported choice they could go with would include a WrestleMania event with zero fans in attendance.

One high placed WWE source tells us there’s still a chance Mania will happen in some capacity. We’re told the situation is fluid. Nothing is set in stone just yet. However, one of the options on the table is a no-fan event (like UFC) but WWE will still broadcast the event live.

WWE has not cancelled WrestleMania or the WWE Hall Of Fame event either. They confirmed Jushin “Thunder” Liger’s induction just this morning.

WrestleMania would look very strange with no fans in attendance. It also makes us wonder which venue would host an empty show of shows. That might be something that WWE is currently working on.
