Bayley and Sasha Banks teamed up to face Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross in the first match with no audience at the WWE Performance Center. This was a terrible situation that WWE and their Superstars tried their best to make better through entertaining fans.

Bayley sent out an Instagram message to fans about this historic match. They will be the first forever, and it probably helped that Bayley and Banks were able to pick up the win in the process.

This was a very special experience in front of Cole and “Papa Hunter” who she called “Paige’s travel agent.”

First is forever.

I’m not gonna brag about the fact that @sashabankswwe and I opened Friday night smackdown (live on Fox) with a big ol victory (classic), in the house that we built (the performance center…literally we put together the rings and stuff), in front of good ol Papa Hunter and (apparently Paiges travel agent) Michael Cole, with zero fans in the audience due to the terrible circumstances going on in our world, we did what we do best no matter what is asked of us because we are professionals, superstars, role models..no no no I won’t talk about any of that.

BUT it was something I will remember forever. I was very proud to be a part of that whole night.

Wrestling is something wild/special/crazy.

SmackDown might have to take place in front of zero live fans for a while. Hopefully, this COVID-19 situation will pass soon and fans can get back to normal. We’ll never forget those shows at the WWE Performance Center for years to come.
