WWE had to think quickly this week. John Cena, Jeff Hardy, and Paige are all returning to Friday Night SmackDown, but the coronavirus is causing a lot of problems

PW Insider reports that WWE has “pulled the plug” on Friday Night SmackDown in Detroit this week. They will relocate the event to the WWE Performance Center.

World Wrestling Entertainment has pulled the plug on this Friday’s Smackdown taping in Detroit, Michigan and will instead broadcast Friday Night Smackdown and 205 Live this week from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, PWInsider.com has confirmed with multiple sources.

It was reported that this decision was made today. The coronavirus outbreak is to blame for this choice. The WWE PC played host for WWE NXT this week. Click here for those results.

An official statement about this relocation is expected soon. At this time there is no word on how this might change Raw.
