WWE Superstars have to meet a lot of people in their jobs. Some fans even get to touch Superstars at meet and greets. That policy has changed.

The company is well aware of the fact that the coronavirus has popped up in the Tampa area. They are proceeding with WrestleMania as planned.

The company did issue a no touching policy for all of their Superstars. There was also reportedly a WWE employee who came in contact with the virus and they put themselves in self-quarantine.

Reddit user Looselipsbackstage has nailed several stories before and established their credibility. They’ve been silent for about a month, but popped back up today in a thread about the new no touching policy.

All roster members are breathing a sigh of relief

Hopefully, the coronavirus doesn’t infect any WWE Superstars or fans at WrestleMania. It would be wonderful if a cure could be concocted very soon as well. Until that happens at least WWE Superstars have an official rule they can lean on to give them a reason not to touch fans.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
