AEW Dynamite brought a loaded show to TNT this week, but Kenny Omega was missing. Nick Jackson wasn’t there either, but he was on “baby duty.”

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer opened up about Kenny Omega’s injury. He hurt his pinkie finger at AEW Revolution in that brutal tag team match. This is why he was announced as absent, but it might not keep him out of the ring for long.

“They say Kenny Omega wasn’t at the show, I presume he wasn’t. I know he’s got a broken little finger, but it’s not something he needs surgery so they’ll put a cast on it. I have a feeling that he’ll wrestle at some point with the cast on, but he wasn’t brought in this week.”

Kenny Omega provides a vital backstage service as an Executive Vice President of AEW. He has a lot of responsibilities with the company. Hopefully, he can heal up and his injured finger doesn’t keep him from too many Dynamite tapings.
