Kevin Owens has been fortunate enough to get quite a few pieces of merchandise at the WWE Shop. His new shirt might be the most special one yet.
Owens released a video explaining the importance of his new t-shirt. It says “Just Keep Fighting” and he wants the real message behind those words to be known.
Owens said that his new WWE t-shirt came from something he was using on Twitter. He said that fans contacted him to say how much reading those words meant to him. They were dealing with their own personal struggles. Now Owens is going even further.
“With that in mind I have decided, after speaking to my wife, that all the profits I make from this shirt are going to go to two organizations that help with mental health. One in Canada and one in the U.S.”
Owens will donate to the Canadian Mental Health Association and The National Alliance For Mental Illness. This is something that he doesn’t have to do. Owens explained that he’s doing this because of the feedback he received after using the “Just Keep Fighting” hashtag.
Kevin Owens said that due to the way WWE’s royalties work “it might be a little while” before he knows how much he’s donating. He promised to keep everyone up to date.
