John Cena has a pretty iconic entrance. Not much has changed over the years. When he showed up on Friday Night SmackDown this week fans noticed one small, yet noticeable difference.

John Cena showed up in full ring gear with his classic jorts and a t-shirt. He even had knee pads on. When he got to the ring and it was time for him to throw up his famous handsign, he opted for peace signs this time around.

Cena’s iconic hand sign has another meaning in sign language. Yes, he’s been calling fans assholes for years.

It seems like John Cena’s new public persona and the responsibilities that follow might have caused a change to his entrance routine. We’ll have to see if the classic hand gesture returns.
