Shayna Baszler is incredibly dangerous and she’s never needed to use her teeth for offense so far. For some reason that changed when she started the road to WrestleMania.
Konnan said on Keeping It 100 that he “watched RAW because I wanted to see Garza, basically.” Then he continued to watch RAW and he was very confused by how they’re booking Becky Lynch and Shayna Baszler.
“Did you see Shayna Baszler bit Becky Lynch on the neck? Do you know what that’s supposed to be? Now they show it in a promo and Becky comes out and she’s in the ring and she’s throwing money, ‘Oh this is all the money they’re gonna fine me because of all the violence I do to Shayna Baszler. Then Baszler showed up on the Titantron and she’s got blood on her mouth like she just bit somebody or something, I’m not sure what the f*ck is going on there.”
“Why does she have have blood on her mouth? That’s weird. Could somebody explain this to me, please. She even says that I’m gonna be in this Elimination Chamber thing and it’s in a cage and I come from a cage and I’m like, ‘Yeah, right. You’re a badass. Why are you biting people?!”
We’ll have to see how things turn out between The Man and the Queen Of Spades. Baszler biting Lynch certainly wasn’t the way that anyone thought her WrestleMania program with Becky Lynch would start. That includes Konnan as he seems just as confused as the rest of us.
