While American football may not be a sport that everyone attaches themselves too, especially if you don’t actually live in the United States, there’s no denying the fact that the XFL has been able to capture the imagination of many people who previously didn’t even take an interest in the NFL.

That can only mean good things for the league moving forward and while the WWE doesn’t really have much to do with Vince McMahon’s new pet project, it always helps when some of your biggest stars are willing to publicly praise what you’re doing.

Case in point: John Cena took to social media in order to voice his own opinions on how they’re mixing things up in the XFL.

While many members of the WWE Universe probably don’t care one way or the other when it comes to whether or not the XFL succeeds, getting the seal of approval from someone like Cena is never a bad sign of how things are going.

Even Vince himself hasn’t really come out and made his feelings known as to how he feels things are going, sticking to his word that he was going to remain behind the scenes and see how it all played out.

Cena is set to return to the WWE soon in order to kickstart his own Road to WrestleMania.
