WWE will often bring former Superstars in for a WrestleMania moment. This year they are calling quite a few.
During PW Insider Elite audio, Mike Johnson confirmed several former WWE Superstars who will be in Tampa, Florida for WWE during WrestleMania weekend.
“WWE is reaching out to many former talents about coming into WrestleMania 36 weekend. I don’t think any of these names will be a shock, but we’ve got them confirmed.”
“JBL will be coming in for the weekend. I would assume he’ll be working with the broadcast team doing kickoff show stuff. Hornswoggle and Santino Marella are booked and will be coming in for the company in Tampa, Florida.”
It was also reported that Darren Young has been booked to be at WrestleMania. A special note was made about Young since he hasn’t been brought back to WWE in quite some time.
WWE brings guests in for WrestleMania weekend every year. They can take part in a backstage segment or do some other kind of signing. We’ll have to see how the company uses JBL, Hornswoggle, Santino Marella, and Darren Young, but they’ll be around Tampa that weekend.
