AJ Styles was out of action due to a separated shoulder. He sustained that injury during the Royal Rumble when taking a spear from Edge. The Phenomenal One returned this week on Raw.

AJ Styles came out with Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows by his side. They said on commentary that the next time Styles will compete is at WWE Super ShowDown on February 27th.

Andrade, AJ Styles, R-Truth, Rusev, Bobby Lashley, and Rowan are all set to do battle in a gauntlet match for the Tuwaiq Trophy in Saudi Arabia.

Styles said that he doesn’t care who he faces at WrestleMania. He just wants that WWE Title back. He listed off a few people he would gladly beat to make it happen.

Then Ricochet came out to confront AJ Styles after he talked a bit of trash. Styles called Ricochet “Ricky” and said he mentioned his name because he was being nice. Nobody believes Ricochet will become WWE Champion at Super ShowDown.

Ricochet asked Styles if he thinks that he doesn’t deserve a title opportunity. Styles said: “Nope.” Then Ricochet said he’s earned his title match and he plans on defeating Brock Lesnar at Super ShowDown.

He challenged AJ Styles to a match right then and there. Karl Anderson said that he couldn’t allow that match to happen against a non-Good Brother. So, Anderson wrestled Ricochet instead.

AJ Styles might not be having a match until WWE Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia, but at least he’s back.
