The process of coming back from injury can be a stressful one in any sport, but that’s especially true in professional wrestling.

While a lot of wrestlers would be happy to get a little bit of time off, there’s no off-season, meaning they’re going to be missing quite a bit of the action regardless of how long they’ll be out for.

One man who has been away from WWE through injury for a while now is Xavier Woods, and it seems as if it’s starting to get to him.

It’s always healthy to step away from social media, especially if you have a lot of followers. When you’re in the public eye for so long it can become an exhausting process, and for Woods, it certainly seems as if the combination of Twitter and his desire to return to the ring has made an impact.

The New Day will always be made up of three core members but with Kofi Kingston and Big E still reaping the rewards of performing on a night by night basis, it must be fairly hard to watch.

New Day is set to go head to head with John Morrison and The Miz at Super ShowDown with the tag titles being on the line – which, in an odd way, will probably serve as a positive for Woods as he doesn’t have to make the trek over to Saudi Arabia.

For now, though, he’ll be focusing on stepping up his recovery and moving towards a brighter tomorrow.
