Matt Jackson Says Being The Elite Is The ‘Black Sheep’ Of AEW

AEW has a lot of stories going on, but they can’t fit everything on Dynamite. Sometimes their wildest storylines take place on Being The Elite.

During a recent Instagram Q&A, Matt Jackson was asked if there are any plans to insert Being The Elite clips into AEW Dynamite. It doesn’t sound like this is in the cards, but he’s okay with having a free space for expression where they can try out new things.

“I’m okay with BTE being the black sheep of even a company that I help run. It’s my favorite limitless place to express myself with no risks. Afraid to try something new, fresh, or crazy? Try it here first.”

Some fans have criticized Being The Elite for having stories differ from those on Dynamite. They add a new layer of context that can eventually come to the surface on TNT. This can be seen with Hangman Page’s drinking problem as they made mention to it this week on Dynamite, but it’s been a focus on BTE for a while.

We’ll have to see how Being The Elite and Dynamite carry on separately, but it is certainly providing The Elite with plenty of opportunities to express their creativity.
