WWE’s Co-Presidents Michelle Wilson and George Barrios are no longer with the company. This was a rather shocking announcement that broke after the stock market closed on Thursday.

The closed stock market didn’t stop the company’s stocks from plunging.

Right now there are a lot of questions left to be answered. WWE’s quarterly financial statement is dropping next week. Brad Shepard reports that people in the company are shocked at the announcement of Wilson and Barrios’ departures.

A source in the company on the announced firings of #WWE Co-Presidents George Barrios and Michelle Wilson: This was “out of nowhere” and “people are jaw-dropping shocked at this announcement.”

It was also described as “out of left field” and an “ugly departure.” The company is also apparently in “panic mode” as described by one employee stationed in WWE’s HQ.

We will have more information as it comes in.
