Shayna Baszler accomplished everything she needed to in NXT. Now she could be on her way to the main roster.
The Queen Of Spades is currently the #1 favorite to win the 2020 Women’s Royal Rumble match. She dropped the NXT Women’s Title to Rhea Ripley and made Shotzi Blackheart look good in the NXT #1 contender’s battle royal. The next time we see Baszler could be in Houston.
When considering the idea of Shayna Baszler on the main roster one WWE source told Brad Shepard that there is definitely money in the 39 year old former MMA fighter.
A source in #WWE on Shayna Baszler: “I’m interested to see where we go with her. She at least has a legit threatening look and style. There’s money in her.”
Nothing is certain, especially with Vince McMahon calling the shots. Shayna Baszler has a lot of promise on the main roster, but she must be built as a legitimate threat. Winning the 2020 Women’s Royal Rumble match would certainly be a great start.
