WWE is continuing their deal with Saudi Arabia and they will have another event in February. That event will now be taking place a little later than first thought.

PW Insider reports that WWE has pushed the date of their next Saudi Arabian event to Thursday, February 27th. This is a week later than first reported.

WWE sources have since indicated to PWInsidercom that preliminary date has been moved to the following week, Thursday 2/27.

Dave Meltzer said that there were two dates in consideration, the 20th and the 27th. WWE was waiting on Saudi Arabia to confirm the date. It appears the 27th will have to do.

This will be WWE’s only February event on the road to WrestleMania.

We previously reported that some additional WWE Superstars have said they don’t want to go to the Middle East due to the rising tensions between the United States and Iran.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
