Jon Moxley was set to wrestle Josh Barnett at Bloodsport a few months ago, but a MRSA infection in his elbow kept him out of that match. He also had to cancel his All Out contest against Kenny Omega. Now Mox is feeling much better.

Josh Barnett has confirmed that he will throw down with Jon Moxley at the upcoming Bloodsport event in Tampa, Florida on WrestleMania weekend.

The match you’ve waited for Barnett vs @JonMoxley. Josh Barnett’s: Bloodsport III 4/2 from The Cuban Club in Ybor City. Get your tickets now!

The Bloodsport event, named in honor of the film, is an MMA/pro wrestling/shoot style event where you never know what kind of match you’ll next. Mox vs Barnett should be a very stiff affair.

AEW has stated in the past that they are going to stay away from running WrestleMania weekend events.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
