Kofi Kingston had a ton of momentum and fan support as he rolled through KofiMania this year. When he lost the WWE Title to Brock Lesnar in seconds some fans were very upset.

Yahoo Sports recently spoke to Kofi Kingston. He admitted that he appreciated fans’ passion when he lost the WWE Title. If they want to be angry, that’s their right too. The important part is that everyone keeps moving forward.

“I appreciate the passion [from the fans], I do. There are people who have careers that span years and they never have this kind of following, so I’m really fortunate to have that. It’s their right to be angry if they want to be angry, but it’s my job to keep moving forward. There’s a whole lot of stuff we don’t have control over, but we work with what we’re given, try to get a little bit more and claw your way back. It might not be a direct, linear path.”

We’ll have to see if Kofi Kingston will eventually circle back around to the WWE Title once again. If might be impossible to capture the lightning of KofiMania in a bottle once again, but his fans would certainly be glad to see it happen.
