Chelsea Green made her debut on RAW this week. It was not a bad way to make her first appearance on WWE television either. Green received a promo video introducing her. Then she wrestled Charlotte Flair in a decent match.
Green might have lost to Flair, but she got some shots in. After Chelsea’s debut, Madison Rayne sent out an encouraging tweet saying that The Hot Mess was a star since day one.
Having trained Chelsea Green, Lance Storm interjected that is not the case. He said it took a bit of time to make Chelsea Green a star. Then he followed that tweet up by saying:
“Had someone try to spin this into me being negative. I guarantee you @ImChelseaGreen smiled, likely laughed out loud, and said “That’s so true” when she read it.”
Chelsea Green seemed to agree with this 100%. She has certainly noticed a change in her wrestling ability since day 1. It was a nice thought, but it took a lot longer than a day to make Chelsea Green the performer she is today.
I could tell everyone the story of how it took me over a week to take my first back bump out of fear… or that it took me over a year to try any move OTHER than a bulldog
Chelsea Green looked like she belonged on WWE RAW. It was a pretty important moment in her career as well. Green could very well return to NXT, but it wouldn’t be a huge shock to see her on the main roster eventually.
