WWE Backstage covers plenty of topics, but there are some that they have stayed away from. There is a good reason why.

Ryan Satin was recently asked why topics about Mauro Ranallo’s situation with Corey Graves and Jordan Myles’ controversy with WWE weren’t covered on the FS1 show. The Satin Sheet host said that since both of those subjects pertain to mental illness they were let off WWE Backstage.

Both involve mental health and I’d rather not make things worse by talking about these situations on TV.

WWE Backstage has approached some interesting subjects, but they have avoided other more tantalizing topics. Wellness policy failures and releases have also been neglected on WWE Backstage. At least they had time for promo school.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
