Injury Suffered During WWE NXT This Week

WWE NXT Superstars leave it all in the ring when they get an opportunity to perform and Dakota Kai is no stranger to that sacrifice. Kai wrestled Mia Yim last night and she needed medical attention afterward.

Dakota Kai was able to defeat Mia Yim, but she was injured in the process. WWE reported that following her match, Kai needed staples to repair a laceration she suffered.

Following her match, WWE’s medical team immediately tended to @DakotaKai_WWE. She suffered a laceration and is currently receiving staples. Stay tuned to tomorrow’s #NXTInjuryReport for further updates.

Hopefully, this small set-back won’t keep Dakota Kai out of action for very long. She’s probably been through worse, but the fact that she was able to carry on through the pain and still pick up the win should say a lot about her determination to compete.
