Taz On CM Punk Not Knowing The Product Before Taking WWE Backstage Gig

CM Punk is on WWE Backstage and he made his second official appearance last night. We’ll have to wait on the ratings, but Punk made headline with his take on putting Lana in a shark cage.

Taz saw an article about Renee Young discussing CM Punk getting to know WWE once again. This caused the Human Suplex Machine to tweet back saying: “Getting familiar? Shouldn’t that have been a requirement (during the audition process) before they offer a deal?”

One fan tweeted back to Taz saying: “Someone’s pissed they didn’t get a call.” Then Taz had a very interesting response. It turns out that he did get a call from WWE Backstage, but he didn’t stop there.

Lol, but I did. See, that’s the low hanging fruit for some people on social media… assuming they know what’s up (like u did). Yo, I was just giving my opinion on what I believe is what anyone in any of those chairs should know.

CM Punk was quite open about doing his homework as well. Since he had so much to say about Lana and Rusev’s current feud with Bobby Lashley is appears he’s watching RAW.

We had heard that Taz tried out for WWE Backstage as well. It would be interesting to see Taz brought onto that show. In the meantime, it seems like he won’t be shy about sharing his opinions on social media.
