WWE has a very strict Wellness Policy. If someone pops dirty for anything other than marijuana there are suspensions. A positive marijuana test results in a $2,500 fine and half the roster smokes weed according to Enzo Amore.

Robert Roode wasn’t on WWE SmackDown last week to take part in the big dog food angle with Roman Reigns. There might be a very good reason for that.

Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that both Robert Roode and Primo Colon have been suspended for violations of WWE’s Wellness Policy. Since this is their first offense it will just be a 30 day suspension.

Violating the WWE Wellness Policy can still do a lot to hamper any momentum that a Superstar has going on. Roode was on television regularly in a tag team with Dolph Ziggler, but Colon never works on television any more.

At this time what they were popped for on the test is not made known. That information isn’t typically revealed unless the Superstars in question releases it. We will let you know if any more information is made known in this on-going story.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
