CM Punk is on WWE Backstage, but that doesn’t mean he will be lacing up his boots again. Seth Rollins might want a WrestleMania match with Punk, but at this point he seems to have exhausted all of his options.

While appearing on WWE Backstage, Rollins addressed his attempts to get a match against CM Punk going. He’s not shocked that CM Punk wasn’t on the show last night either.

“Look, to be honest with you I’m here, he’s not here and I’m not shocked about that. I think I’ve exhausted all of my energy on the subject. I just don’t think it’s going anywhere.”

“I’m not shocked that he’s not here, so I think it’s time to maybe move on to something that matters.”

“I wish he was here. I wish we could have a face-to-face, but it’s not in the cards.”

Vince McMahon was said to have been furious at Seth Rollins for throwing CM Punk under the bus on Raw last week. He doesn’t like to promote a match he can’t deliver. We’ll have to wait and see what happens next, but The Architect might need to figure out a new WrestleMania opponent.
