Last night on NXT, The Undisputed Era and The Revival tore the house down with one of the matches of the year in WWE – and that’s not an overstatement. Not even close.

The two teams are highly regarded as the best in the world, and they were able to live up to that hype in a big way. The wrestling world was certainly paying attention to what these two teams were doing, on a night where many believe NXT won the Wednesday Night War between themselves and AEW – even though we haven’t seen the official figures yet.

One man who was clearly pretty excited, and understandably so, was none other than Corey Graves.

Sometimes you just need to put the critic to one side and appreciate what it is you’re actually watching, and in this instance, what we were watching was art in the form of tag team excellence. That sounds a little bit over the top, but it’s true.

Graves himself has seen first hand what NXT is capable of, and in this instance, the past vs future nature of the bout certainly grabbed his attention. He even joked that the above post wasn’t an indication of a star rating, because again, sometimes we need to look on the lighter side of the business.

It doesn’t feel as if this is going to be any sort of permanent move back down to NXT for Revival, and instead, it’s a one-off showcase to prove that they are able to make magic with just about anyone in the ring when they’re given the time to do so.
