Finn Balor’s heel turn also included a tease with AJ Styles. Many fans were hoping that a Bullet Club type faction might form in WWE with the addition of Balor. Apparently, that’s not happening.

While speaking to After The Bell, Balor said that the Bullet Club is in the past. That being said, he plans on forming something new in NXT.

“Everybody talks about the Bullet Club reunion. Off-camera, we’re still boys. Whether it happens on-screen or not, I don’t know. Is it one of those things that it almost nearly happens and then doesn’t? Is that cooler? Or will it be the case of when we give it to them, it’s ‘oh, that was it? I was hoping it would be cooler than that.’ The Bullet Club stuff, for me, was six-seven years ago. Trying to go back that far, I’d rather come up with something new and create something new.”

The old Bullet Club Good Brothers might still be boys in the back, but we might not see the reunion some fans are hoping for. Let’s just see what WWE has in store for Finn Balor, but the idea of him forming his own new thing in NXT could certainly heat up the Wednesday Night Wars.
