WWE had to pull a SmackDown show together out of nowhere last week without many Superstars available to them. This caused them to change many plans for the show. The Superstars were back a few days later for RAW, but the company was still making some alterations due to Saudi Arabia.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that the ending of Charlotte Flair and Natalya vs The Kabuki Warriors was changed on RAW. The initial finish saw Asuka pinning Natalya, but WWE changed their minds.

Natalya got a lot of great press after competing in the first female match in Saudi Arabia. This could have been a big contributing factor to why she ended up pulling down the win because the company didn’t think it was right to have her lose after such a big match.

The idea for a while is that Asuka will eventually have a match against Becky Lynch. This could still be the plan, but they were supposed to inch closer to the match this week. Obviously, WWE changed their minds which doesn’t mean Asuka vs Lynch isn’t happening. It just means that they went a different direction this week.
