There was some kind of issue in Saudi Arabia when WWE Superstars were just trying to leave the country after Crown Jewel. We’re not sure what the problem was, but it was reportedly serious.

PW Insider reports that a “majority” of the Superstars who made the Crown Jewel show won’t be able to make it back for SmackDown. It is said that they were sent back to their hotels in Riyadh.

At this time there is “no word” on when the WWE Superstars will be leaving Saudi Arabia. They were able to get twelve Superstars out of the country.

It was not confirmed who was able to leave, but they are “absolutely necessary” for the SmackDown show tonight.

WWE has made arrangements to try to get those “absolutely necessary” for SmackDown to the taping, we are told.

We will have to see how this situation turns out. We can only hope that everyone makes it back to the United States safe and sound as quickly as possible.
