Eric Bischoff is no longer with WWE and his appointment as Executive Director of SmackDown didn’t last long at all. In fact, he didn’t do much and those who worked with him wanted to quit.

During Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez spoke about Bischoff’s situation with WWE. Apparently, there was an issue of Bischoff not learning any of the Superstars and he never put forth the effort to change that. There were also issues with him leaving early which is a huge no-no backstage.

“I heard that he just didn’t know anybody. He didn’t know any of the talent. He didn’t go out of his way to learn about anything. He would leave and nobody could get ahold of him. I heard zero, zero good things about Eric Bischoff when he was doing whatever he was doing, I don’t even know what he was doing.”

Eric Bischoff was quite public about the fact that he didn’t keep up with WWE’s current product before taking the position. He really should have brushed up on that knowledge because one would think that is one of the most important parts of your job when running a pro wrestling television show.
