Dave Meltzer discussed Cain Velasquez’s big WWE debut during Wrestling Observer Radio. Daniel Cormier is a man who seems destined for WWE eventually. He has one fight to get out of the way, but Velasquez’s entry into WWE could open the door for DC in a big way.

“You go with two Cain matches and when he wins the second one Cormier runs in? Then you go with Brock and Cormier, I could absolutely see that and Brock and Cormier would be a real big match because the one thing we know is that Cormier can cut a promo and I don’t know that Cormier would a better wrestler than Cain, but Cormier has enough moves that he could do with Brock and I think Cormier would be just fine. I could absolutely see that. You’ve got a whole year of Brock now.”

It was said that Cormier vs Stipe Miocic would happen in UFC by WrestleMania next year. This could open up a WrestleMania appearance for DC in WWE. We’ll just have to see what WWE’s plans are, but it looks like Brock Lesnar could have some big money matches in his future.
