Sonya Deville & Mandy Rose Meet With WWE Producers About Lesbian Angle

WWE is airing a ton of new programming this week including the season 9 premiere of Total Divas. Sonya Deville will be a part of that cast and as WWE’s first openly lesbian Superstars she’s looking to be a stand-out.

During a promo that was recently released for the upcoming season, Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose are shown being led into a room backstage as Deville says:

“Mandy and I are meeting with producers to pitch the first-ever LGBTQ storyline in the WWE.”

She also later said that she feels a responsibility to represent her community. Obviously, WWE didn’t run with a lesbian angle yet, but you can never say never.
