Adam Cole Explains NXT’s Mindset About Wednesday Night Wars

Wednesday nights are about to get very busy for pro wrestling fans. We wonder how many fans have already bought a second television so they can watch both NXT and AEW at the same time.

Adam Cole will definitely be a focus on NXT as they continue on the USA Network. As NXT Champion, he is leading an entire roster into battle as the Wednesday Night Wars pick up.

Fox Sports recently had a chance to speak to Adam Cole where he discussed NXT’s mindset during this upcoming battle for pro wrestling supremacy.

“I can tell you this. I don’t mean to speak for them, but I have a strong feeling this is how they feel, because I know at NXT we have a strong focus on making sure it is the best possible show that we can make it on Wednesday’s and that’s all we have the energy to focus on.”

“And I’m sure those guys feel the exact same way. So, in turn, of course, it’s exciting for the wrestling fans, they get to compare, to watch both events, which is awesome, but they’re focused on making sure their show rules and I know we’re focused on making ours rule. And in turn, it’s really exciting for everybody.”

“The move to Wednesday nights mean so many more eyes to, in my opinion, see the most exciting brand in sports entertainment.”

Adam Cole might have a bit of an inside track on how AEW is feeling about the Wednesday Night Wars since he is dating Britt Baker. Both rosters are going to bring it and in the end, everyone should benefit. Let’s hope that this new passion from the pro wrestling world ignited a new wave of fandom as well.
