Chris Benoit’s name will always bring up bit of controversy, but his son David Benoit has nothing to do with the tragedy that surrounded his father’s passing. He still might enjoy experiencing the pro wrestling world.

While speaking with The Pro And Bro Wrestling podcast, David Benoit talked about his time backstage at AEW. He also stated that it was a great time and All Elite Wrestling is definitely somewhere he would want to go.

“I love AEW. That’s a good time, good, quality product, some good wrestling. I went to their first show, ‘Double or Nothing…’ I want to go to AEW one-hundred percent. I love AEW, I love what they do for the boys, take care of them,”

David Benoit didn’t become a star like his father, but he is still welcomed backstage in AEW. He has also stopped by backstage at WWE events when they are in town.

Perhaps this might open the door for Benoit to have a larger role in All Elite Wrestling as time goes on. He certainly seems up for the job.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
